Stillness, by Design

For Francis and Annie’s family, home was never meant to be a statement.

It was meant to be a refuge — somewhere the noise of the day simply stops. The previous owner had an entirely different aesthetic, and the family was ready to write their own story around a single intention: calm that you can feel the moment you step inside.

The Light that Started It All

The existing skylight in the dining area was the one thing they wanted to keep. We ringed it with a circular cove fitted with warm concealed lighting, so the space glows just as beautifully at night as it does by day.

From there, the rest of the home followed: soft neutrals, natural materials, and a quiet thread of green marble running from the foyer all the way into the kitchen.

Made for Gathering

The kitchen is where this home comes alive. A gently curved island anchors the space, while its dark sintered stone top meets a bold green marble backsplash that catches the light from below.

Every detail earned its place — a built-in dishwasher, a pull-out tray for the rice cooker, a wet kitchen converted from the backyard and connected seamlessly through a glass door.

Living, Quietly Cinematic

In the living room, a full-width media shelf houses a retractable projector screen — sleek enough to disappear when not in use. Warm oak joinery, a glowing display niche, and sheers that filter the afternoon light keep the space feeling like a retreat rather than a setup.

Bathrooms Worth Lingering In

All three bathrooms were reimagined from the ground up — expanded, refined, and brought into the same warm language as the rest of the home. Backlit mirrors, large-format tiles, and wall-hung fittings turn everyday routines into something worth looking forward to.

Some homes impress. This one simply holds you.
