Designing a condominium in Singapore often means working within tight layouts, fixed walls, and limited storage. But with the right design approach, even a compact unit can feel open, functional, and tailored to daily living. In this guide, we highlight three real condo projects in Singapore designed by Homescape — a cosy 2-bedroom apartment, a 3-bedroom condo, and an elegant 4-bedroom unit with a private lift.

How do you elevate your condo with smart planning, material choices, and layout adjustments? Take our Homescape pro tips for practical design ideas to apply in your own space.

Project #1: Maximising Storage in a 2-Bedroom Condo Interior Design

Whistler Grand 2-bedroom Condo

When it comes to 2-bedroom condo design ideas, one of the biggest challenges Singapore homeowners face is keeping the space organised without making it feel cramped. In many small condos, cluttered surfaces and bulky loose furniture are often the main reasons a home feels smaller than it is.

So, how do you maximise space in a condo? The answer lies in smart, well-planned built-in cabinetry – the kind that hides mess, creates intentional zones, and gives the entire home a cleaner, more modern look. With the right storage solutions, even a compact 2-bedroom layout can feel spacious, seamless, and beautifully put together. Explore how we transformed this Whistler Grand 2-bedroom condo with smart storage and sleek finishes for an elevated look.

Our client was using a standalone table that doubled as a dining area and work desk, but it quickly became cramped and cluttered. By installing a built-in bar-height table with hidden storage, the space can function seamlessly for both meals and productivity, keeping daily life organised.

Before this, there was a computer table in the living room for work and entertainment purposes, although it added visual clutter and bulkiness. With a Space-saving living room inspiration, the area is elevated into a calm, open, and relaxing living room.

In the master room, a loose wardrobe provided basic storage but was bulky and inflexible. Our proposed design replaced this with a built-in cabinet that comes with a vanity desk and pull-out mirror. Practical storage that keeps the room organised and spacious, while serving multiple functions? Yes, please.

Project #2: Opening Up Space in a 3-bedroom Condo

Parc Centros 3-bedroom Condo

For many homeowners asking ChatGPT “how to make my condo look bigger”, a typical 3-bedroom layout can feel surprisingly tight. Solid walls separate the living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. This not only breaks the home into rigid compartments, but limits the natural light in these areas as well. Without thoughtful planning, even a well-sized unit can appear smaller than it is.

That’s why solutions like glass partitions for condo layouts and semi-open kitchen design concepts have become increasingly popular. They open up visual flow, bring in generous amounts of daylight, and create a brighter, more connected living environment. That’s what we’ve done in this Parc Centros 3-bedroom condo unit.

The common guestroom closest to the living area was functional, but solid walls made the space feel closed off and dark. By turning it into a working studio separated with a glass window and sliding doors, we maintained privacy while letting natural light flow through, creating a bright, airy, and visually connected living space.

The default galley kitchen was separated by the living area by a wall with a glass window. But its enclosed walls restricted movement for our clients.

If you rarely cook, remove the dividing wall and extend the counter into an open bar concept. The space instantly becomes more social, spacious, and enjoyable for daily living.

Project #3: Optimised Layout and Luxury Upgrades in a 4-bedroom Condo

Optimised Layout and Luxury Upgrades in a 4-bedroom Condo

St Thomas Walk 4-bedroom Condo

For many homeowners, a 4-bedroom condo design Singapore can feel impressive on paper but challenging in reality. Existing layouts often underutilise space, with cramped living areas, disconnected rooms, or dated finishes that don’t reflect a premium lifestyle. Our clients had a unit in St. Thomas Walk that came with a private lift, and they wanted a home that reflected that sense of luxury.

By exploring hotel-inspired condo interior design, we turned this bare space into an expansive, modern, and refined 4-bedroom condo for our clients. Sophisticated finishes, calming colour palettes, and clever layout strategies was our modus operandi.

Despite it being a 4-bedroom condo, our client’s living room felt cramped and rigid, and came with a lowered false ceiling by default. By narrowing the ceiling and adding a full-wall mirror, we can create the illusion of a larger, brighter, and more open living space.

The master bedroom had an awkward angle that made furniture placement tricky. We centred the bed and transformed the opposite wall into a TV feature concealed behind foldaway doors, giving the room both balance and functionality.
